What to Expect from Testosterone Therapy

Wondering what to expect from testosterone therapy? Walking into a new clinic can feel intimidating, especially when it comes to something as personal as your health. We get it. Here’s exactly what to expect from your first visit through ongoing treatment at Phoenix Men’s Health Center. No surprises, no pressure, no judgment.

Your Visit, Step by Step

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, here’s how it works:

Step 1: Book Online

Schedule your $49 testosterone screening online or call 602-908-5422. Pick a time that works for you. Most appointments are available within a few days.

Step 2: Check In

When you arrive at our Phoenix office (2601 N 3rd St, Suite 304), you'll check in with our front desk team. The space is designed to feel more like a lounge than a doctor's office.

Step 3: Blood Work

We draw your blood right here on-site. No separate lab visit. Our comprehensive panel tests total testosterone, free testosterone, and other key markers. Takes about 10 minutes. Your results will be ready in about one week.

Step 4: Come Back in 1 Week

About one week after your blood draw, you'll come back for a one-on-one consultation with your provider. They'll review your lab results in detail, listen to your symptoms, and discuss your options. This is not a rushed appointment.

Step 5: Your Custom Plan

If TRT is right for you, your provider builds a personalized treatment plan during your follow-up visit. You'll know your delivery method, schedule, costs, and what to expect going forward. No surprises.

Step 6: Ongoing Care

Regular follow-up visits and lab work to monitor progress and adjust your plan. You're never just handed a prescription and sent on your way.

Why Our First Visit Is Different

We do labs on-site. No separate quest or labcorp visit. Your blood draw happens right here in our office. Results are ready in about a week, and then you come back for a thorough provider consultation to review everything.

We take our time. Your provider actually listens, asks questions, and builds a plan that fits your life. This isn’t a factory. It’s a clinic built specifically for men who want real answers.

No pressure. If your testosterone levels are normal, we’ll tell you. We don’t push treatment on men who don’t need it. If TRT is right for you, we’ll explain why and what the plan looks like. The decision is always yours.

The space feels different. Our office was designed to feel more like a high-end lounge than a medical clinic. No fluorescent lights. No paper gowns. No judgment. Located at 2601 N 3rd St, Suite 304, in central Phoenix.

What to Bring to Your First Visit

Keep it simple. Bring a valid photo ID and any relevant medical records or lab results you’ve had done recently (not required, but helpful if you have them). If you’re currently on any medications or supplements, bring a list.

That’s it. We handle the rest.

Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that roll up easily for the blood draw. Your first visit (blood draw) takes about 20-30 minutes. Your follow-up consultation one week later is where we take our time reviewing results and discussing your options.
